Land Legacy Fund
Overview
The Land Legacy Fund’s mission is to acquire and transition farmland to an agroecological, regenerative model that delivers financial returns, social value and environmental benefits.
Farmland is a complex asset that requires expertise and insight to deliver performance across its spectrum of opportunity over the long term.
The Land Legacy team bring the necessary skills, experience and professionalism to build a portfolio of highly valued assets for all our stakeholders — investors, staff and communities.
We buy land.
We manage the transition to multi-output, agroecological systems.
We deliver a best in class asset in perpetuity.
Building value through agroecology
Converting to organic/regenerative
We will transition farmland to deliver value added organic food, timber and other products.
Increasing crop diversity & natural capital
We will increase crop diversity and reduce tillage to build both soil fertility and overall health and therefore the value of the asset.
Investing in people & Infrastructure
We will invest in learning, careers, well paid jobs, equipment and value-add facilities.
Actively managing farmland
We will actively manage our farms to increase revenue, reduce risk and deliver benefit over the lifetime of the investment for all our stakeholders — investors, employees, customers and local communities.
A legacy investment…
